I’ve been a fan of Joe and Seph’s ever since my sister introduced me to their goat’s cheese and black pepper popcorn. They are an established UK brand selling gourmet popcorn. Over the years, I’ve slowly been trying some of their other flavours, but goat’s cheese and black pepper is so far my absolute favourite. One of my friends happened to buy me the Cosmopolitan popcorn as a gift! Here I will share with you what I thought of this flavour.
Appearance
This popcorn is packaged in a cute Kilner jar with a huge red bow and Joe and Seph’s tag. This jar holds 80g and I like how I can reuse the jar to store other things, making this the gift that keeps giving. The popcorn itself is an orangey colour with flecks of pinkish red.
The taste
According to Joe and Seph’s official website, the ingredients consist of orange, cranberry and lime, followed by 5% Triple sec and vodka. Butter is listed as an ingredient so this is veggie friendly but not vegan. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first tasted these, but they are very moreish. They are sweet but not overly so and you can truly taste a Cosmopolitan in these – I am impressed! I think I still prefer their goat’s cheese and black pepper popcorn, but I will not be turning this down either!
Joe and Seph’s also have other flavours as part of their Cocktail collection including Gin and Tonic! Maybe one I should pursue later…
You can easily order their 80g pouches from their website at £4 each (free UK delivery if you spend £12+), or 6 pouches for £19.95 including p&p. They also sell larger pouches of 120g at £5 each or 6 pouches at £24.95 including p&p). The Kilner jars can be found in their gift section, with the 80g one costing £10.99. They do ship internationally too!
You can also purchase them in your local Selfridges Food and Harvey Nichols!
